Manually update AVG.

You can update AVG Antivirus in 4 ways:

1. Launch AVG (use the AVG icon on your desktop or Start->Programs->AVG 7.5->
AVG for Windows), click on the Check for updates and choose the source (Internet or folder)

2. Launch AVG (use the AVG icon on your desktop or Start->Programs->
AVG 7.5 ->AVG for Windows), choose the Check for Updates option from the
Service menu and choose the source (Internet or folder)

3. Launch AVG (use the AVG icon on your desktop or Start->Programs->
AVG 7.5->AVG for Windows), press the F9 key and choose the
source (Internet or folder)

4. Launch the AVG Control Center (double-click on its icon in the
systray or use Start->Programs->AVG 7.5->AVG Control Center),
right-click on the Internal Virus Database (or Update Manager) component,
Update and choose the source (Internet or folder)

To Do Manual Updates :
1. Launch AVG
2. Open the Control Center
3. Hit F3 ( Reduced Mode ) or Click View / Reduced Mode
4. Rt. click on Update Manager & Choose Properties
5. Uncheck "Do not ask for the update Source"
6. Then click the Update button
7. Then click the Folder button
8. Then locate the folder where you put the updated AVG update files
you manually downloaded from their Updates website - Updates Here
9. To download the update files : Rt. click / Save target as on the update files one at a time
