Don't be fooled by inferior products!

All Scriptco Hard Drives use the IDE/ ATA interface. The 5400RPM drives have 512KB cache. The 7200 RPM drives we sell all feature 2MB cache and provide a 10%-15% improvement in total system performance. Motherboards

Unlike many of the systems advertised on the Internet, Scriptco custom systems are built with non-proprietary motherboards. Some manufacturers integrate the graphics card, sound card and/or network interface onto the motherboard. This is not necessarily bad. This may mean that instead of having a separate card that handles the graphics, it is all embedded on the motherboard. This cuts most of the costs for the manufacturer but also may raise some issues. If there is a fault on any of the components the entire motherboard may need to be replaced if this is the manufacturers design. Some setups do allow you to disable the onboard graphics/sound/etc. and install a separate card for upgrading. Make sure your motherboard is therefore upgradable. However, keep in mind that with integrated graphics the memory is borrowed from the RAM of the PC, whereas a separate graphics card with 32MB of memory has separate memory chips on the graphics card. Integrated graphics cards will use the main system memory, which means that your program applications cannot make use of it.
